Competition Prints

When you submit your print for competition - everything matters!
Paper choice, matting design and technique, color match, visibility of details, etc.

With all that in mind, we apply maximum attention to every step.

MEDIA CHOICE

If you have your favorite paper in mind you can let us know and we will print on a paper of your choice.

If you are not sure which paper to choose from - we can print your image on several different types of media and send them to you before we make the actual competition print.

Here is a link to all available fine-art media types.

MATTING DESIGN

Most competitions require the outer size of the mat to be 16x20" and the print's longer side cannot be less than 10".

We offer 16x20 mats with a 6.67x10" opening for images with a standard ratio of 2:3 or mats with a custom opening.
Each print has a 0.25" border around the image to prevent any cropping.
We will send you a digital mockup of the mat before we proceed to print production.

COLOR MATCH AND DETAILS

We check every image for loss in black details, digital artifacts, color banding, sensor dust. If we find any areas of concern we will let you know.
The best format for accurate color match and maximum details is 16-bit TIFF with AdobeRGB1998 color space. Click here to get more info about proper image settings.

SHIPPING

Our services include labeling, packing and shipping your prints directly to the competition's address.
